The Zazu Card is a business Visa debit card that lets you spend directly from your Zazu account. This article covers the basics, and points you to the right guides for everything else.
Physical and virtual cards
Your Zazu Card is currently available as a physical card. Virtual cards, where your card details are available digitally and ready to use straight away, are coming in mid-November 2026.
How spending works
The Zazu Card is a debit card: you can only spend what is available in your Zazu account. There is no credit line — your card draws from your existing balance.
Where you can use your card
Your card works anywhere in Morocco that accepts Visa, for payments in person and for cash withdrawals at ATMs. It cannot currently be used for online payments, and it cannot be used outside Morocco. Both are being worked on. See Can I use my card online or abroad? for the detail.
Controlling how your card is used
You can turn ATM withdrawals, online transactions and contactless payments on or off for each card. Changes take effect immediately. See Turn ATM, online and contactless payments on or off.
What's coming next
We are continuously improving the card. Planned additions include:
Virtual cards — mid-November 2026
Online payments
More granular spending limit controls, so you can set limits as an amount rather than only switching a transaction type on or off
Merchant payment controls, so managers can decide where cardholders are able to spend, not just how much
Tokenisation — early 2027 — which lets you add your card to Apple Pay and Google Pay with a single tap
About your card issuer
Your Zazu Card is issued in partnership with a regulated bank in Morocco, and made possible through Chari Money, our card infrastructure partner.
You may see their names printed on your card. These are the regulated institutions that make it possible for us to issue a card under the Zazu brand.
